Revitalization Committee to Meet for Review of Proposals

The Downtown Revitalization Initiative committee will meet Thursday for for public review of plans to upgrade Huntington Station.

The public is invited to attend the meeting at St. Hugh of Lincoln Church at 6 p.m.

Thursday’s meeting is the second of three community meetings and will provide an overview of some of the proposed preliminary projects for the revitalization effort.  The public can offer feedback on these proposals and share their ideas.

Huntington Town Supervisor Ed Smyth said, “The Town of Huntington continues to be encouraged by the participation and excitement the Huntington Station community has demonstrated with this revitalization project.  We look forward to working with all stakeholders to ensure we are putting our best plans in motion for the betterment of the entire community.”

Public feedback is welcome on such topics as:

  • Vision and Goals for the Downtown Area
  • Revitalization Themes, Issues, and Opportunities
  • Potential DRI Projects
