Suffolk County Police Second Precinct reported Friday they were handling two instances of gunfire that occurred in Huntington this week.
The first happened Monday at 9:18 a.m. when an occupant of a room at the Melville Marriott, 1350 Walt Whitman Road, Melville, fired a single shot. An individual was arrested, but there were no injuries.
The second incident occurred Tuesday, when an unknown person fired five shots into a window at 123 1st Ave. Apt. 202 Huntington Station. No injuries were reported.
