A Smithtown woman was killed Wednesday morning in a two-car crash on the Northern State Parkway in Dix Hills, state police said.
Katherine A. Wiski, 47, was driving east of exit 42 about 9:26 a.m. when her vehicle struck the back of another vehicle driven by a Dix Hills woman, state police said.
After striking the back of the vehicle, Wiski lost control of her vehicle, police said, causing it to overturn and striking a tree. Wiski succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The other driver was uninjured.
