Snow, Ice Expected Overnight; Watch for School Changes

Tuesday morning’s commute is expected to be messy as snow and freezing rain arriving before 9 a.m.

A total snowtime accumulation of 2 to 4 inches of snow is possible overnight. About 1/10th of an inch of ice could accumulate Tuesday morning.

Watch for school closings or other changes in schedule:
Upper Room Christian Room Christian School has moved to remote learning.

Rain is expected to continue until about 4 p.m., with more snow and rain expected later in the afternoon.

The National Weather Service said that wind chill values are expected between 20 and 30. The chance of precipitation is 70%. New ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible. New snow accumulation on top of Monday’s snow of less than a half inch is possible.
