Synagogues Plan Services to Express Solidarity After Attacks

Several Huntington area synagogues have scheduled a joint service Friday night  in light of the Hamas attack on Israel.

Temple Beth El in Huntington will host the community Kabbalat Shabat: With Israel in Our Hearts service at 7 p.m., joined by Kehillath Shalom Synagogue, Huntington Jewish Center and Chavurat Emet, of Smithtown.

“Join us as we find strength together in the shadow of the horrendous terrorist attack,” a flyer reads. “We can share our sorrow, our anger and our fear, but stand in solidarity with Israel and the people of Israel.”
