The Town Board honored Brittany Schiavone as the founder of Brittany’s Baskets of Hope this week for her selection as the L’Oréal 2019 Women of Worth National Honoree.
Her charity, Brittany’s Baskets of Hope, helps bring information, guidance and support to families of babies with Down syndrome. She hand makes the baskets.
She was awarded $35,000 to continue her work.
