Ugly Weather Expected Throughout Wednesday Night

The National Weather Service is warning that severe thunderstorms could hit the area Wednesday afternoon through the overnight.

A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms is predicted. Some storms could be severe, with damaging winds and heavy rain. Partly sunny, with a high near 86. Southwest wind around 7 mph.

Northwest wind 3 to 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
