An Indian restaurant has opened in a space previously occupied by one featuring Afghan meals in downtown Huntington.
Bombay Grill opened two weeks ago at 44 Gerard St., succeeding Afghan Kitchen 44, which closed in July.
The restaurant offers a full range of Indian dishes, from vegetables samosa and tilapia fish fry as appetizers, to spinach lentil soup, tandoori baked bread, vegetarian and non-vegetarian curries, to desserts including mango ice cream.
It is open from 3 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. daily.
