Campaign 2023: Going Local TV Produces Candidate Videos

Going Local TV has produced a series of videos of candidates introducing themselves to voters and talking about a variety of issues.

The videos, with candidates speaking directly to viewers, are available online.

So far, seven videos have been posted: Jason Richberg, Democrat, seeking re-election to the Suffolk Legislature 15th District, Catherine Corella, Republican candidate, Suffolk 17th, Jillian Guthman, a Democrat seeking re-election as  Huntington town tax receiver, Theresa Mari, Republican candidate, Huntington Town Board, Jen Hebert, Democratic candidate for Huntington Town Board,  Don McKay, Democratic candidate, town board, and Linda Davis Valdez, Democratic candidate, town clerk.

Candidates talk about their favorite topics; Richberg, for example, talks about water quality, infrastructure, and public safety. Corella discusses affordable housing and the crime rate, and bail reform.

The election is Nov. 7. Early voting begins Oct. 28.
