Burger Village, which specializes in organic and uncommon burgers, will open Oct. 27 at the Huntington Shopping Center.
The restaurant, the third Burger Village on Long Island, will provide free burgers to its first 100 customers. The opening is scheduled for 6 p.m.
The menu includes such uncommon fare as elk and bison burgers, in addition to beef, and falafel, as well as vegan options such as a black bean burger. Side dishes include black and bleu salad, fried pickles, soup, and fries. There is also a kids menu.
Burger Village will open on a pad site that includes the newly opened Just Salad, on a pad site facing out onto Route 110.
The shopping center is undergoing significant renovations and opening several new businesses, including a Whole Foods and an REI store, which is scheduled to open Nov. 3.
