Isao “Sammy” Kobayashi has been named president and CEO of Canon USA, headquartered in Melville.
He previously served as president and CEO of Canon Canana for the past year, and succeeds Kazuto “Kevin” Ogawa, who will return to Japan for a new assignment after five years at Canon U.S.A., Inc., serving as president and CEO since April 2020.
Kobayashi has been at Canon since 1990, working first in the photocopier sales division.
