Huntington Supervisor Ed Smyth has extended cooling center hours for the duration of the heat wave through Sunday.
The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory through Friday, and forecast temperatures in the 90s through Sunday.
The following facilities are available for use as cooling centers:

Town of Huntington beaches will have extended lifeguard protection until 7:00 PM for the duration of the heatwave.
