Crime Fiction Author to Launch Book at Huntington Library

The Huntington Public Library will host the launch of author Reed Farrel Coleman’s 32nd novel, “Sleepless City,” the first novel in his new series.

Coleman has written six in the late Robert Parker’s Jesse Stone. The author grew up in Brooklyn but lives in Long Island.

. He is a four-time recipient of the Shamus Award and a four-time Edgar Award nominee in three different categories. He has also won the Audie, Scribe, Macavity, Barry, and Anthony awards. Reed lives with his wife on Long Island.

Books will be available for purchase along with an in-person book signing.  A percentage of proceeds will be donated to the Friends of Huntington Public Library, a non-profit organization in support of the library.

NPR has referred to Coleman as “a hard-boiled poet” while The Huffington Post says, “Coleman is the resident noir poet laureate of the United States.”

Refreshments and snacks will be served.

The event runs frm 7-8:30 p.m.
