Fund Set Up for Family Devastated by Apartment Fire

A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to raise money to assist a family who lost everything in a fire early Tuesday morning in Huntington Station.

Suffolk County police rescued five people, including a family of two parents, and two children, from the fire that tore through their apartment over a hair salon on New York Avenue.  The Huntington Manor Fire Department put out the fire, which spread throughout the two-story building.

The campaign founders wrote, “Thankfully the family made it out alive but the apartment was completely destroyed along with all of their personal belongings. Please find it in your heart to help them get through this time and rebuild what they lost. Thank you.”

Gracias.
