The family of a woman killed in May has set up a GoFundMe account.
Lisa Harmon Conway, 54, was struck by a car backing out of a parking space on May 18.
“My children have lost their mother, we have many challenging years ahead and are very grateful for the outpouring of support from our family, friends, schools, church and community,” her husband, Aidan, wrote. “Lisa was so special to so many – she started and ran the Community Exchange Table of Northport (previously the Sharing Table of Northport) where she worked tirelessly to provide, and often personalized, support to those who needed help. She developed many wonderful benefactors who helped Lisa to help a lot of people in need.”
