A Haagen-Dazs ice cream store will open this fall in the Huntington Shopping Center.
The South Huntington store will be the company’s 11th property on Long Island.
Haagen-Dazs will join such other stores as REI, Williams Sonoma and Whole Foods as redevelopment of the property at 350 Walt Whitman Road coninues.
The store will occupy 1,400 square feet of space on the 21-acre shopping center site.
Haagen-Dazs, founded in 1960, offers a wide range of flavors, including New York strawberry cheesecake, bourbon praline pecan, chocolate peanut butter pretzel, rum tres leches, summer berry cake pop as well as many more traditional products.
