‘Heart for Huntington’ Festival Draws Families

Huntington Assembly of God hosted Heart for Huntington, a community festival for families, on Saturday.

With a DJ providing music, families enjoyed food, books, slides, some soccer, food, face painting and arm tattoos and  more. Several organizations were on hand: Suffolk County Police had several vehicles on display, while Northwell Health, Family Service League, Huntington Community First Aid Squad and Huntington and South Huntington libraries provided information about their services.

The church, led by Pastor Danny Rivera, has frequently been at the center of dealing with crises such as helping residents during the Covid-19 epidemic, and finding ways to help feed people during food shortages.
