Huntington’s Family Earth Day celebration has a full lineup of activities, from pet adoptions to composting demonstrations, beekeeping lessons and a music jam. Musicians are welcome to bring their own instrument and join the jam.
The celebration will run from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Manor Farm Park, 210 Manor Road, with Councilmembers Sal Ferro and Brooke Lupinacci as sponsors, and Covanta, Huntington Hospital, the 1653 Foundation, The Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce and Home Depot as partners.
Other activities include tree sapling giveaways, paper shredding and face painting.
