NAACP Recognizes Women for Public Service

 

Women leaders in Huntington were recognized Saturday at a luncheon sponsored by  Women in the NAACP.
Councilwomen Brooke Lupinacci and Theresa Mari, Tax Receiver Jillian Guthman, and Suffolk Legislators Stephanie Bontempi and Rebecca Sanin. All were honored for their contributions through their public service in Huntington.
The packed ceremony at Piccola Bussola included a violin performance by Huntington High School junior y DeAndre Simmons. The celebration was in recognition of Women’s History Month. The Rev. Dr. Larry Jennings Sr. offered the invocation and benediction.
