The Suffolk County Police Department arrested an MS-13 gang member on gun charges Thursday night in Huntington Station.
Police said the individual was arrested outside the rear of the Princess Bar and Restaurant, at 1419 New York Ave., at approximately 8:15 p.m. and charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd for possession of a loaded revolver and for two counts of False Personation.
The officers involved in the arrest were from the 2nd Precinct anti-crime team.
On Twitter, Second Precinct commander Inspector Kevin Williams wrote, “Great job!” in noting the arrest.
The restaurant is the site of the former Melissa’s Tavern.
No further details were immediately available.
