Suffolk County police aren’t settling for offering coffee, pizza or donuts with a cop.
They’re planning a Chess with a Cop session March 12 at the Commack Public Library.
All skill levels are welcome to join for a chance to get to know police offcers over a chessboard.
The session is scheduled for 7 p.m. The library is at 18 Hauppauge Road, Commack.
