Police Seek Help in 2019 Murder in Dix Hills

Authorities are seeking the help of the public in the murder of a Dix Hills man in his home in 2019.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and homicide squad detectives released no new information in the killing of Armindo Reis, 74, who was found shot to death in his home at 22 Penn Dr. on June 11, 2019 at approximately 6:15 p.m. Police went to his home after neighbors were unable to contact him.

The grandfather of two, who lived alone, was pronounced dead at the scene.
