Rotary Club Raises Funds to Fulfill Its Mission

Members of the Huntington Rotary Club gathered Wednesday night to raise funds for the numerous charities around town that it supports.

The Oktoberfest, featuring beers and German food, was held at Six Harbors Brewing Company.

Among other activities, the organization also plans its Taste of the Town for Oct. 26, to be held at Appliance World, to support the Huntington Lighthouse Preservation Society and other groups.

Among the projects and groups that the Huntington Rotary members support are a scholarship fund, Family Service League, Dolan Family Health Center, Special Olympics, Tri-CYA, Leadership Huntington and other organizations.
