Brother David Migliorino, principal of St. Anthony’s High School in South Huntington, to give the opening invocation before a recent meeting of the Legislature in Hauppauge.
Suffolk County Legislator Tom Donnelly, D-Deer Park, invited Migliorino to give the non-
denominational prayer, Before the invocation, the St. Anthony’s High School Gregorian Schola, under the direction of Assistant Principal Brother Joshua DiMauro, sang the National Anthem.
Brother David has been a member of the Franciscan Brothers of Brooklyn for the past 50 years and became principal of St. Anthony’s High School in 2019. Before joining St. Anthony’s, he held numerous educational roles around the country, including principal,
administrator and teacher.
Friar Hall of Fame
Four St. Anthony’s alumni will become members of the Friars Hall of Fame.
US. Rep. Nick LaLota and his wife, Kaylie, Brother Robert Gabriel and Nancy Kennedy will be honored at the March 1 dinner.
