Station Revitalization Committee Asks for Survey Participation

Huntington residents are being asked to participate in a survey about the Downtown Revitalization Initiative proposals for Huntington Station.

The DRI is a state program that granted Huntington $10 million to upgrade part of the Station through redevelopment, business, job creation, and economic and housing diversity.

Since that award in January, several meetings of a local planning committee and public presentation meetings have been held. Slides from all meetings are available online at: www.huntingtonstationdri.com/documents.

The Huntington Station DRI Local Planning Committee is seeking participation in a survey that it said would guide the eventual selection of projects.

The survey is available at:

For questions, contact huntingtonstationdri@gmail.com.

The local committee next meets Oct. 5 at 6 p.m. at St. Hugh of Lincoln. The next community meeting is Oct. 25 at 6 p.m., also at St. Hugh.
