The Town of Huntington will mark Hispanic heritage month with a celebration Wednesday at Town Hall.

The 7 p.m. event will include cultural musical performances.

Hispanic Heritage Month runs from Sept. 15-Oct.15, and recognizes the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans on the culture, history and achievements in the United States. The mid-month start coincides with celebrations of several independence days in Latin American countries.
