The Town of Huntington will mark Hispanic heritage month with a celebration Wednesday at Town Hall.
The 7 p.m. event will include cultural musical performances.
Keynote speaker is attorney David Sperling.
Hispanic Heritage Month runs from Sept. 15-Oct.15, and recognizes the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans on the culture, history and achievements in the United States. The mid-month start coincides with celebrations of several independence days in Latin American countries.
Members of the Huntington Town Board as well as the Hispanice Advisory Task Force are expected to be present.
