Heckscher Park was the site of the Town of Huntington’s 19th annual tulip festival on Sunday, headlined by children’s entertainer Janice Buckner, who provided music and puppetry.
Youngsters, including several who were accompanied by their parents, were invited onto the Chapin Rainbow Stage during the performance to try their hand at puppetry.
The town said that the park has more than 20,000 tulips in bloom.
