Voters Go With Incumbents in Fire, Water Elections

Several water and fire districts around Huntington elected leaders Tuesday.

Michael Pastore was re-elected a commissioner in the Huntington Manor Fire Department. He ran unopposed and received 449 votes.

Huntington Fire District voters re-elected two incumbents. Michael Plant, running unopposed for a five-year term, got 303 votes. Anthony Annuziata was re-elected with 293, to a three-year term, defeating Nicholas Ambrosio with 46 votes.

In the Greenlawn Water District, commissioner John Clark was re-elected. He was unopposed.

Ciro DePalo was re-elected as a commissioner of the South Huntington Water District. He has been a water commissioner since 2009. He defeated his lone opponent, Michael Kornfeld. Vote totals were not immediately available.
