Whaling Museum to Host Haunted BOO-Seum Festival

The Whaling Museum and Education Center will host its Haunted BOO-seum Festival on Oct. 29.

It will feature new activities, including outdoor lineup of vendors selling fall and Halloween themed goods.

New activity stations this year include a “Spooky Spirit Photo Booth” where attendees will receive a printed photo taken in front of a spooky back drop. New presentations scheduled every half hour throughout the event include, What’s Gross on a Whaleship, Haunted Sea Stories, and Ghost Ships.

Also in the lineup are the “Mad Chemist” mixing up potions, the “Fortune Teller” providing a glimpse into their future, and “The Medic” who guides you in spinning the wheel to discover the cure to 19th century maladies.

The festival will run from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. See the Whaling Museum website for ticket price and other information.
