The Huntington Zoning Board will hear a request tonight to tear down a long-closed diner and build a bank branch in its place.
The Oceancrest Diner, at the intersection of Norwich Street and Walt Whitman Road in Huntington Station, has long been an eyesore. The application seeks setbacks and signage permission to build a 3,755-square foot Wells Fargo branch.
Also on the agenda is a request for parking and parking location sign and overnight outdoor parking and storage relief to allow for the conversion of a single-family home into a house of worship at 207 Broadway-Greenlawn.
