Burlington Store Grand Opening Set for Nov. 10

Burlington Stores, Inc. will open Nov. 10 at the Big H Center in Huntington.

Following the ribbon-cutting at 8:45 a.m. on Friday, the store will open at 9 a.m., with the first 100 customers 18 years old and up receiving a $10 bonus card. On Nov. 12, customers will receive a free Burlington umbrella, while supplies last, no purchase necessary.

It will be the national discount retailer’s 61st store in the state.

The store hours Monday-Saturday are 9 a.m.-midnight, and Sundays 9 am.-11 p.m.

Burlington also supports local philanthropic efforts throughout the year, and will donate $5,000 to a nearby school through its partnership with the national non-profit organization AdoptAClassroom.org. Funds will be used to provide students in a local high-need school with classroom materials. The presentation of the donation to the local school community will take place at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

“Our goal is to continue to offer communities low prices on brand name merchandise for the entire family and home,” said Michael O’Sullivan, CEO, Burlington Stores. “We’re continuing to expand our footprint across the country and are excited to be opening a new store in Huntington. We look forward to giving local customers the chance to discover big savings on a wide range of products.”

The store offers clothing, footwear, items for babies, home decor and pet care and toys.

The store is looking to hire approximately 65 associates in a wide range of full-time and part-time positions throughout the store. See BurlingtonStores.jobs.
