Redistricting by the Suffolk County Legislature has left some voters confused about who will be representing them as of January.
In many cases, campaign literature bearing unfamiliar names and faces is arriving in the mailboxes of Huntington voters.
The legislature has posted maps showing the new districts. You can check each map to figure out where you are. Or you can look up your district through your voter registration.
Red numbers on the map also show electoral districts, which are smaller subsections of each legislative district but have no bearing on who a voter’s representative will be.
