Whitman was beaten by Commack Saturday, 20-18, in a rainy homecoming football game. A field goal with 2 seconds remaining left the Wildcats with a 3-3 record, while Commack moved to 4-2.
Earlier in the day, for alumni were inducted into the South Huntington Hall of Fame: Dara Reid Croft, Eliot Lonardo, Brittany Schiavone and Ed Wu were honored for their achievements and for serving as role models for future graduates.
Huntington defeated Deer Park 25-22, Northport beat Bellport 19-15, and Half Hollow Hills West defeated Kings Park, 46-36.
while on Friday, Half Hollow Hills East squeaked past West Islip, 44-43. Also Friday, Harborfields rolled over Comsewogue, 29-7.
