Services are scheduled next week for Dolores “Dee” Thompson, the community leader who died Wednesday at age 94.
She was the mother of Kevin Thompson, Tracey (Walter) Edwards and the late Royal Thompson, III, grandmother of Devin (Abby), Nicole, Tyrell, Walter and Kimberly and great-grandmother of Alex, Nathan, Troy, Christina and Adelyna.
Viewing is set for 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Monday at M. A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station.
The funeral is Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by entombment at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Pinelawn. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made in her name to: Dolan Family Health Center would be appreciated.
