St. Patrick’s Parade Returning Sunday to Huntington

Huntington’s 90th St. Patrick’s Parade will take place Sunday, with pipe bands, school groups, elected officials and others marching up New York Avenue to Main Street in a display of Irish pride and heritage.

The parade, sponsored by the Huntington division of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, will be led by Msgr. Steven Camp of St. Patrick’s Church, this year’s grand marshal.

Marchers will leave from the LIRR station parking lots on New York Avenue at 2 p.m. and travel north to Main Street, ending in front of St. Patrick’s Church.

The AOH said the it is the oldest and largest St. Patrick’s parade on Long Island.
