Train service will be suspended Saturday between New Hyde Park & Hicksville for switch replacement work, the Long Island Rail Road said Friday.
On Sunda, service between Penn Station and Huntington will be reduced to hourly due to switch replacement work, while trains between Huntington & Port Jefferson will run every 2 hours.
Oyster Bay Branch trains will run between Mineola and Oyster Bay only.
The LIRR recommended avoiding the Ronkonkoma, Huntington/Port Jefferson and Oyster Bay Branches and instead, using the Hempstead Branch, where service is being increased to every 30 minutes on Saturday or the Babylon, Montauk or Port Washington branches.
Special timetables will be in effect for all branches.
