Huntington’s newest restaurant, The Foood Spot, is open for business, offering takeout only service.
The Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce helped cut the ribbon for its official opening Thursday at 1870 E Jericho Turnpike, Dix Hills.
Its menu is filled with such choices as oxtail, jerk chicken, coconut curry shrimp, Jamaican Escovitch red snapper, sweet fried plantain, Jamaican cabbage, rum cake and honey butter cornbread.
