Three Kings Day Celebration at St. Hugh’s

Families collected gifts Friday as part of a Three Kings Day celebration held at St. Hugh of Lincoln Church.

Parents drove their cars into the church lot, where they received presents for their children, handed out by a variety of celebrities that included Santa Claus and Wise Men. Food and hot chocolate were also available.

Numerous Suffolk police officers, including Inspector Kevin Williams, participated in the celebration, including Town Supervisor Ed Smyth, Town Clerk Andrew Raia (Santa Claus), Suffolk Legislator Rebecca Sanin (Mrs. Claus), State Sen. Mario Mattera, Councilmen  Dave Bennardo and Sal Ferro (as Wise Men), Kevin Thorbourne, director of human services, Pilar Moya Mancera, CEO of Housing Help, Jose Avila of United Way, and Walter Edwards, deputy parks director.

The holiday celebration was sponsored by Housing Help.
