The Town of Huntington launched a newsletter Friday detailing coming events, highlights of the previous month, a list of government meetings and more.
It was emailed out Friday afternoon, and is also viewable at https://huntingtonny.gov/newsletter
“We have been hard at work over the last seven months to increase efficiency, streamline services and maintain open lines of communication between all Town Hall departments and our residents,” Supervisor Ed Smyth writes in the introduction.
Also included is a list of departmental phone numbers, comments from town council members, information about recycling and clickable links to make service requests, holiday trash pickup information and other town offices.
The inaugural edition is eight pages long.
