Urban Air Opening in Dix Hills

Urban Air, an adventure park/indoor playground for children as well as adults, opens its doors officially this weekend in Dix Hills.

Owners Manish Bangard and Jon Bihn say their center provides much-needed family recreational space for the residents of Huntington with trampolines, zip lines, dodgeball, virtual reality, a ropes course, climbing walls, and more.  The site has taken over 30,000 square feet of space in the former Pathmark store at 683A Old Country Rd.

“We’re very excited to bring this to the Town of Huntington, which lacks family entertainment,” Bangard and Bihn said.

The site will offer summer camps, and will host corporate events, team-building exercises, birthday parties, and other special events. The center also has a cafe serving pizza, chicken nuggets, fries and other staples of kids’ meals.

Passes are available in a variety of packages, starting $32.99 for a basic pass to $48.99 for a platinum pass. Tickets are also available for $9.99 for single virtuality and laser tag games.

Bihn said they have created 125 jobs with the site. They will have a ribbon cutting on Friday at 4 p.m., and its grand opening Saturday at 11 a.m.
