Wanted: Thefts at Apple Store, Costco, Home Depot

Police Second Squad detectives are seeking help to identify and locate two people who used a stolen credit card in Huntington Station.

Eight credit cards were stolen from a shopping cart at Costco,  at 625 Broadhollow Road in Melville, on Sept. 14 at approximately 12 p.m. Two people attempted to use the cards at Apple, in the Walt Whitman Shops, later that day. One purchase for approximately $2,300 was successful.

The man was described as Hispanic in his mid-20s with a tattoo on his right leg and the woman was described as Hispanic and older than the male.

Home Depot Theft

Police Second Squad detectives are also seeking a man who stole items from a Commack store in September.

A man stole approximately $1,040 worth of merchandise from Home Depot, 5025 Jericho Turnpike, on Sept. 30 at approximately 12:05 p.m.
