Campaigns Down to the Wire Ahead of Tuesday Vote

Early voting ended Sunday, leaving just one day–Tuesday–for residents to cast their ballots.

Election Day means voters go to their usual voting places to decide on two members of the Huntington Town Board, one Suffolk County legislator, a town clerk and a tax receiver.

Polling places are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Below are profiles of the four Town Board candidates as well as those running for tax receiver and town clerk.

Suffolk County redistricted, with new lines taking effect as of January. Maps.

Don’t think Election Day will provide a reprieve from hearing about candidates and issues. Huntington Town Supervisor is promising to launch his re-election campaign Wednesday.
